We've tailored these camps to fit those new to the sport, and those who have prior experience fencing. Bringing the ancient art of dueling to the modern day world, students will learn about the rich history and tradition of fencing as they discover the fun and competitive sport of present day Olympic athletes. One incredible week of fencing exercises, cross-training, one-on-one coaching, and bouting will give students a solid foundation in the Olympic sport of fencing. This unique experience in fencing is made to accommodate both the novice and intermediate fencer. No prior experience in fencing is necessary to enjoy every aspect of the camp. Intermediate students will find the coaching and special training available to them particularly valuable in the development of their skills. This is an athletic camp open to children ages 8 and up. Instruction will begin each day at 9:30 am and end at 3:00 pm. All safety equipment and foils will be provided. Every camp participant should bring a bag lunch and a water bottle. Sunscreen is recommended for outdoor activity. Campers should arrive ready for exercise and fun!
