We've got final results in for many of the categories this season. Junior Men's Foil was reported in a post below. Now on to the rest.
In Junior Women's Foil, Elena Liroff took seventh place after an injury caused her to miss the last two events of the season. Get well soon, Elena! Kaelyn Leake took 18th, and Breanna Lee ended the season in 30th.
In Youth-14 Boy's Foil Sam Perkins took 1st place, Forrest MacDougall placed 3rd, Ian Tatum placed 6th, Alex Simmons finished 8th, and Ben Anderson took 11th. All top sixteen finishers and a first place. Nice going guys.
In Youth-14 Girl's Foil, Elena Liroff finished the season in 9th place, after having a strong start, winning two of the three tournaments she attended before her injury knocked her out for the season. Marissa Lambert and Breanna Lee took 23rd and 24th, respectively.
In Youth-12 Boy's Foil SFA made another strong showing, with Alex Simmons taking 1st place for the season and Ben Anderson following in 6th place. Sam Lee placed 35th and Daniel Myers finished at 45 in a crowded field of 82 fencers this year. Good job guys!
In Youth-12 Girl's Foil, Keele Shaw-Connelly placed 8th followed closely by Olivia Gray in 9th place. Marissa Lambert placed 12th. Three SFA fencers in the top sixteen, not bad at all! All that hard work paid off, ladies.
In Youth-10 Mixed Foil Terran Swanson placed 23rd, followed by Patrick Monahan at number 35. Can't wait until next season, guys!
All in all, a very good season for the Sonoma Fencing Academy. Congratulations go out to all the hard-working fencers in the club. Good job!
