The Summer National Championships are nearly over, and the results from past days competitions are in. Our elite team was in there and fighting the whole time.
These are the results so far.
In spite of a bad ankle injury, Elena Liroff came in 9th in Youth-14 Women's Foil, her best result of the Nationals. In U-16 Women's Foil she took 25th place and in Division II Women's Foil she made 35th. Putting everything into the Nationals, Elena also fenced in U-19 Women's Foil and placed 61st.
In Division II Men's Foil, Forrest MacDougall placed 29th out of 243 competitors, then moved on to take 22nd in U-16 Men's Foil and 64th in U-19 Men's Foil.
In U-16 Men's Foil Sam Perkins finished in 9th place, and took 36th in U-19 Men's Foil.
Alex Simmons took 43rd in U-16 Men's Foil and 54th in U-19 Men's Foil. In Youth-12 Men's Foil Alex placed 33rd.
Ben Anderson took 14th in Youth-12 Men's Foil.
