Coming up this Saturday, the 20th, is our last fencing workshop of the year. From 2-5pm, fencers will do footwork, bout, strategize and have fun. This workshop is a great way to train and stay involved before classes start again in January.
On Sunday the 21st is our last Beginner's tournament of the year. There will be two events:
Youth Beginner's Tournament: Check in between 10 and 10:30am. Fencers MUST arrive between 10 and 10:30am or they will not be able to fence.
Junior Beginner's Tournament: Check in between 1 and 1:30pm. Fencers MUST arrive between 1 and 1:30pm or they will not be able to fence.
The tournaments will each take about 2-4 hours to finish, and should be a lot of fun. This is a great way to get an introduction into the competitive side of fencing. Fencers and parents will get an idea of what to expect at a fencing tournament if they choose to be competitive in the future.
But most of all, we want the kids to have a good time. We hope you can join us.
A map to the Academy can be found on our Contacts page.
