Congratulations go out to Alex Simmons and Sam Perkins of the Sonoma Fencing Academy for their recent victories.
Alex traveled north to fence in the 2004 Canadian Championships and won the gold in Under 15 Men's Foil. He also took 3rd in Cadet Men's Foil and 7th in Junior Men's Foil. Way to go Alex!
Sam Perkins fenced his way to the top and won the gold in the last Open Mixed Foil of the season, earning his A2004. This put him in 5th place in the final standings for the season. Nice fencing Sam!
