Fencing Tournament and Workshop Series

Sonoma Fencing Academy is introducing a new series of partner tournaments and workshops. At each event there will be an optional two hour workshop followed by a team tournament (team tourneys typically last from 2-3 hours). The workshop will cover topics and skills related to competitive fencing technique and preparation.

Students sign up for both events by pre-registering prior to the event to avoid a late fee. The whole team must sign up at the same time. In other words, you have to give us two names, not just yours! It's OK to sign up for the team event and not the workshop, or vice-versa. Teams will be separated by the age categories outlined below. At each competition, teams will earn points within their respective age groups. At the end of the third tournament, the first place team in each category will be awarded a prize. Electric fencing equipment is not necessary for these events, and standard equipment will be provided to those who do not have their own.

Workshop time: 9-11am (please arrive at 9am sharp)

Partner tournament times: (check-in time means arrive before listed time)
10 and under, 11am check-in.
11-14 years old, 11am check-in.
Junior/Adult, 1:30pm check-in.

Costs:
Workshop, paid in advance $20. (after deadline, $30)
Tournament, paid in advance $20 per team member. (after deadline, $30)
Teams must sign up seven days prior to the event in order to receive the lower price.

Dates:
December 3rd (sign up deadline, November 26th)
December 17th (sign up deadline, December 10th)
January 21 (sign up deadline, January 14th)
